Expanded Lipid Profile

SmartHealth Dx’s Expanded lipid profile (ELP) measures typical lipid markers, as well as specialty lipid markers to give a complete insight into the patient’s health. ELP testing is an excellent baseline health assessment tool for patients at any level of health.

Lipids are a variety of fatty compounds that perform a number of different duties within the body, including the absorption of vitamins and moving energy around. However, high levels of some of the lipids or ratios can be harmful.

Our ELP measures seven direct components and one diagnostics ratio.
